
4th of July Extravaganza
The fun-filled event features live entertainment, face painting, carnival games, and lots of great family fun all day long. Annually July 4th.

Lunar New Year Celebration
This free event is a unique and popular way to experience and enjoy the music and customs of China, with special Japanese taiko and koto performances to add to the festivities. Highlights of the event include nonstop entertainment and a spectacular Lion Dance. A centuries-old tradition, essential to New Year’s festivities in Hawai‘i, the colorful Chinese Lion Dancers perform acrobatic feats and leaps, interacting with the audience and parading through Queens’ Marketplace from door to door. Annually January/February.

Lavaman Triathlon
This challenging and exhilarating race starts a ‘Anaeho’omalu Bay and the bike and run portion covers much of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Lavaman Triathlon Weekend kicks-off with the Lavaman Sunset 5K at Queens’ Marketplace. The run is a fun 5K course through the Waikoloa Beach Resort featuring beautiful sunset views and a preview of the Lavaman Triathlon course. Annually March/April.

Charity Walk
The Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association’s Charity Walk started almost 40 years ago on Oahu, and today takes place on every major island. Participants are encouraged to get support from family and friends to “sponsor” their walk. All proceeds are donated to on island non profit organizations. After the walk, enjoy entertainment, keiki activities, a silent auction, and delicious food samples at the Waikoloa Bowl. Annually May.

HalloQueen!
The whole family is invited to dress up in costume and trick-or-treat in a safe, well-lit venue. Keiki can pick up free goodies and trinkets at giveaway stations around the mall, and visit participating stores for candies. Creepy decorations, monster music and ghoulish giveaways make for a “spooktacular” experience. Annually October 31st.

Picture Taking with Santa at Queens’ Marketplace
Annually families are invited to bring their keiki (children) and their cameras to meet Santa Claus by the Grand Christmas Tree (at the market center near Starbucks and Maui Divers Jewelry) where Santa’s helpers will assist with photos in a festive setting. Afterwards, shoppers can enjoy a stroll along the mall’s holiday decorations, pick up a snack, or sit down and relax over dinner. Annually December.
