This month, we’re proud to feature Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner Kenny Tagavilla—better known as Kenny T—performing live with his full band!

Kenny T, from Honaunau, South Kona, has been a beloved name in Hawai‘i’s music scene for over 20 years. Known for his signature “shaka and a smile” and unique country sound, he’s a nine-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award finalist. His debut full album, released in December 2023, earned him the 2024 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Contemporary Acoustic Album of the Year, featuring his original hit, Kona Grown. He’s also a finalist in six categories for the 2025 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards!
