A&B announced Thursday that Hawaii Kind Grinds has opened in an 817-square-foot space at the center’s food court.
The café focuses on fast-but-healthy fare, including acai bowls, smoothies, avocado toast, sandwiches, and wraps.
For Hawaii Kind Grinds’ owner Brittany Isaac, it marks her second venture within the center. Isaac also helms yoga and barre studio Yoga Barre Hawaii, which she opened in 2019.
The studio has always featured a select menu of juices and smoothies, and the café represents an extension of the concept.
“We’ve had a great response and following from our customers that inspired us to build that part of our business,” Isaac said in a statement. “At Hawaii Kind Grinds, our full kitchen enables us to offer a more diverse menu of thoughtfully sourced, house-made food, including the popular acai bowls and cold-pressed juices that our patrons have come to love. And, we’re right around the corner from the yoga studio.”
The café currently employs a staff of 10.
Hawaii Kind Grinds marks the latest in a string of new eateries to open at Queens’ Marketplace. Other recent additions include Island Greens, Waikoloa Pizza and Waikoloa Shrimp Co.
