Fourth of July Family Celebration at Queens’ Marketplace

KOHALA COAST, Hawai’i Island (June 25, 2022) — Queens’ Marketplace is bringing back their Fourth of July Family Celebration on Monday, July 4th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm with a line-up of rocking live music, family-friendly lawn games, face painting, star-spangled decorations, family photo opportunities, and lots of free giveaways for the whole family!

The following activities are planned for Independence Day:

LIVE MUSIC
Enjoy live performances by local bands Off Da Cuff and Johnny Shot Band, plus a very special performance by the U.S. Airforce Band of the Pacific. Our island’s favorite radio host G.Cruz from KWXX FM will be emceeing the event. KWXX FM will also be broadcasting live throughout the day.

FACE PAINTING
Aunty Cynthia and Aunty Jennifer will be drawing special red, white and blue designs on keiki faces from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Don’t forget to snap a family photo with the star-spangled balloon arches after!

FREE POPCORN & COTTON CANDY

Queens’ Marketplace is giving away free bags of popcorn & cotton candy starting at 2:00 pm (while supplies last). Look out for the “Sweet Treats” booth by the Coronation Pavilion to pick up your sweet loot.

FREE GIVEAWAYS & ENTER-TO-WIN
Families can stop by the “Info Booth” for free giveaways including visors, hand fans, and more (while supplies last). There will also be a special Fourth of July giveaway. Enter-to-win a $250 prize basket filled with merchant gift cards and merchandise at the “Info Booth”.

LAWN GAMES
Ready. Set. Play! A variety of lawn games, including corn hole, ring toss, tic tac toe, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4 will be set up in the lawn across from the Coronation Pavilion for all day family fun.

MERCHANT SALES
Queens’ Marketplace merchants are hosting special sales throughout the entire holiday weekend.

Waikoloa Beach Resort is not hosting their annual Fourth of July fireworks show.
