Keoni Thompson is a musician from Kona on Hawai’i Island, where he was raised surrounded by the sounds of Hawaiian music, country storytelling, and the rhythms of the ocean. Growing up in a place where slack key guitar, island reggae, and paniolo country traditions all live side by side, Keoni developed a style that blends Hawaiian contemporary music with country-inspired songwriting. His music reflects the landscapes, culture, and everyday life of Hawai’i-often drawing inspiration from the ocean, the land, and the spirit of aloha.
