ft. Honoka’a Jazz Band

The Grammy Award Winning, Nā Hōkū Nominee Honoka’a Jazz Band is a group of advanced high school musicians who uphold a long tradition of excellence on the Big Island of Hawai’i since 1978. From its original size of 13 students, the Jazz Band has since grown to 42 students under the direction of Gary Washburn, the dedicated teacher and accomplished jazz artist. Today, the Honoka’a Jazz Band is considered one of the states’ top High School Bands.
